My roster has a red exclamation mark next to it. What’s wrong? Log in to your member account, click on "Spring Teams 2010", and then click on your Team ID to open your roster. In the upper right corner you will see a summary of team rules about your team. Anything marked green is OK. Anything marked red indicates a deficiency that needs to be fixed.
To correct red marks in the Team Rules box, find the item in red and follow the steps below. NOTE: To get the system to update the coach RMA, player ID or team ID, you must make it look up the individual again by changing a data field (such as adding an "x" to the end of the name), moving off the record, changing the data field back to what it should be, and moving off the record again.

| 1. Contact – An adult with RMA clearance must be indicated as the team contact by clicking the TC radio button in the first column. |
| 2. Returning – This shows the number of returning players from fall team. No limit is required for spring. |
| 3. Over Age – All players must fit the age requirement for the team. The earliest birth day for the team age is show right above the list of players. The date of birth of overage players is shown in red. |
| 4. Roster Min – Minimum number of players required. There is no limit for spring soccer. |
| 5. No Player ID – Number of players for whom there is no match in the registration database. "No Player ID" shows in red in the Player ID column next to the player(s) in question. Possible causes for the “No Player ID” marker: |
| a. Player name or DOB is entered incorrectly. The entry should match the player’s birth certificate. Frequently replacing a nickname with the player's legal first name will correct the problem. |
b. If you think there’s a mistake or you can’t correct this error, email seattleyouthsoccer@yahoo.com with the team id and player name.
| 6. No Team ID – Number of players who are not properly registered. "No Team Id" shows in red in the Team ID column for the players in question. This means the player is not properly registered for this season. The mostly likely reason is failure to submit a birth certificate. |
| 7. No RMA – Number of adults on the roster without current Risk Management (RMA) clearance. This marker could appear if a coach name or DOB is entered incorrectly. To obtain RMA clearance, register by clicking this link RMA Application. |
| 8. Signatures – Electronic signatures of the coach and the association registrar are required. If the coach signature is missing, type your name in the signature box and click "Accept". The association registrar will sign when all of the rules are satisfied. If all of the rules are satisfied and the association registrar has not signed, email seattleyouthsoccer@yahoo.com with your Team ID and a note that the roster is ready for signature. |
Is a Medical Release Form necessary? Yes. The coach/manager should have a signed medical release for each player at all games and practices. The coach may use the ones from the fall season or you may download a medical release form, sign it, and give it to the coach. |

What happens if I have too many players? Some coaches may have too many kids -- and they all want to play all the time! In this case, we suggest forming two teams and having players play on both teams. You may end up with a conflict or two, but think about playing short in that situation. Remember, the more the kids play the better they get. And sitting watching a game is kinda boring if you are a kid -- most kids would rather play the entire game. Spring Soccer is all about playing for the fun of playing.
