Field Rules & Safety Policies

Soccer Goal Safety Is Everyone's Responsibility

SYSA is committed to safety. Coaches, parents, players - please help us make our soccer fields safe places for our kids. Soccer goals should always be weighted and anchored, both when in use and especially when not in use.

Help keep our fields Clean

Please take your garbage with you or place it in a garbage can located at the field.

Dogs Are NOT Allowed on Soccer Fields

Most of us love dogs, but they don't belong on soccer fields. There are lots of reasons for this; damage to the field, fouling the surface, risk of infections or bites to players, nuisance and distraction to participants.

But the main reason SYSA reminds you to leave your dog at home is that both Seattle and Shoreline municipal codes prohibit dogs on play fields. Please respect the law and keep your dog off the soccer fields our kids play on.

serious emergency/injury?

If you ever experience an emergency situation at the field, feel unsafe or someone in your party has a serious injury please CALL 911.
