The All-City Jamboree is a round-robin event for SYSA's U8 and U9 recreational teams, hosted in partnership with Seattle United, SYSA’s advanced development program. Format

The Jamboree follows a round-robin format in which each team plays three 30-minute games. 

We ask that families plan to spend at least 3.5 hours at the field, arriving 30 minutes before the first game. Our goal is to provide each team with three 45-minute game slots (30 mins play time and 15 minutes of transition) and one 45-minute break somewhere in between. Due to the logistics of scheduling, there will be teams whose schedule does not fit this format.


Limited Space

Team capacity is limited to create balanced divisions for each age group and gender in the U8 & U9 brackets. Acceptance is first-come, first-served, and capacity is limited to ensure balanced divisions by age and gender. Register early to secure your team’s spot.

Once capacity is reached for a division, registration for that group will close. If a division does not fill by the designated close date, we may increase capacity in the other age brackets.

Teams will receive confirmation of registration email AND a follow-up confirmation email once the team is officially accepted into the Jamboree. SYSA will follow-up with emails pertaining to roster accuracy and game-day expectations. Please do not email us with a list of roster adjustments.

Entry Fee

The entry fee is $200 per team. Online registration only. Please note that no refunds will be issued after the registration deadline or once brackets are full.

Important Tournament Rules and Information:

SYSA Official Association Rules of Play are available on our website: https://www.sysa.org/rulesandregulations

Matches shall be played in conformity with the SYSA Rules of Competition unless otherwise noted within this FAQ document. Coaches are responsible for compliance with the rules.

Can we combine players from different teams?

Yes. If your team is short on players, you may combine with players from other SYSA recreational teams. SYSA will reach out with instructions on updating your roster. Please do not email us with a list of players/coaches. All players must be registered with SYSA/SU for the current season and listed on the official All-City Jamboree roster. The last day to register new recreational players is October 31. The last day to register select players for Fall is Sept 30. 

Friends are in from out of town. Can their kids play?

No. All players must be registered with SYSA/SU for the current season and listed on the official All-City Jamboree roster.

Can we request specific game times or opponents?

No. We cannot take scheduling requests of any kind.

  • The Jamboree is an all-day event, with games starting around 8:30 am and ending around 6:00 pm. 

    We ask that families plan to spend at least 3.5 hours at the field, arriving 30 minutes before the first game.     We encourage families to hang out, patronize the food trucks, and enjoy watching the action!

  • Schedules will be posted to the SYSA website (https://www.sysa.org/) on or before November 6.


  • Teams should arrive 30 minutes before their first game for check-in with SYSA staff. SYSA will provide a copy of the official ACJ roster. Players and coaches not listed on the roster cannot participate. 

    U8 teams require a minimum of 4 players to start the game; U9 teams require a minimum of 5 players to start the game. Games must begin on time due to scheduling capacity on the field. Delays will result in shorter games  or, in the case of a lack of players, a forfeit.

  • Yes. There will be food trucks, giveaways, and plenty of soccer fun throughout the day.

  • Wear your official club uniform, and bring water, snacks, and your game-day energy. SYSA will provide game balls and field setup.

  • Yes! Check in with SYSA when you arrive, and we will direct you to an appropriate space.

  • No. Seattle Parks does not allow pets on the field where children are playing. It is a health and safety hazard. Anyone bringing their pet onto the field will be asked to remove their pet.
