SYSA City Tournament

The largest tournament of its kind in the state, SYSA's modified double-elimination City Tournament allows SYSA's U11 and older recreational teams to finish the season with two guaranteed additional games. In the first week or two, many of the games are played in the evening on lighted fields. The kids are always excited about playing under the lights in a tournament atmosphere, and many teams surprise their coaches (and themselves) by raising their level of play because of it. The City Tournament began in 1969, and has been held every year since. Don't miss out on the excitement and fun of this great event!

2026 Tournament Dates:

Games begin the week of Monday, November 30th

Championship will be Saturday, December 19th

2026 Team Fee: $250

Some clubs cover this fee - check with yours for a discount code before registering.
Registration closes Sunday, November 1 at midnight. There will be no late registration this year. 

Please use your team's OTTO TUID# to register, located on the OTTO team page or in the OTTO app (under team name).

Event Format
SYSA City Tournament is a modified double elimination tournament. Each team plays at least two games* over an 18 day period, resulting in finals on December 19.

U11-U14 will have two levels of play within each age bracket, whenever possible (based on the number of teams registered), to better balance the competition. Teams will be assigned a level based on the 2026 Fall standings through early November.

Teams and Players
Short on players? Watch for an email with instructions for adding to the roster. All players must be registered for the Fall 2026 season by October 31. The cut-off for SELECT players to register for the SYSA Fall Season was September 30th.
