Feature Friday: Hillwood Soccer Club

With over 850 players and growing, Hillwood Soccer Club is proud to serve the west side of Shoreline, welcoming students from Syre, Parkwood, Highland Terrace, Echo Lake, Einstein Middle School, and Shorewood High School. They’re all about creating a fun, supportive environment where kids can learn, grow, and fall in love with soccer.

This fall, they’re excited to launch their very own Junior Referee Program, giving young players a chance to learn the game from a new perspective. They’re also proud to continue their partnership with Darigold, helping provide low-cost uniforms to families across the club.

Club President Silas Lindenstein, now in his third term, has coached three teams with Hillwood—one for each of his kids! “We’re looking forward to continuing to offer great opportunities for coach development and creating a more supportive atmosphere for all of our players,” says Silas.

Hillwood is powered by volunteers, and they’re always looking for coaches, team managers, and field helpers to keep game days running smoothly.

Scholarships are available during registration to ensure every child can play, no matter their financial situation.
